Rising Lights Project
Our mission is to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities - and their families - to thrive, learn, laugh and engage with the broader community.
Vision & Values
Rising Lights Project exists to break the cycle of isolation experienced by individuals with intellectual and cognitive disabilities and their families. Our programs create meaningful social connections, build friendships, and foster true belonging — places where people are welcomed exactly as they are.
Community
We exist to break the cycle of isolation by creating spaces where individuals with disabilities and their families build friendships, find support, and experience true belonging. Our community is a place where no one walks this road alone.
Discovery
We believe in discovering strengths — within ourselves, within one another, and within our wider community. Through hands‑on experiences, new opportunities, and meaningful partnerships, we stay curious and continually learn. By working alongside community partners and exploring new ideas, we stay educated, expand what’s possible, and create opportunities for individuals and families to grow with confidence and joy.
Inclusivity
By increasing disability awareness, reducing stereotypes and fear, and modeling what inclusion looks like in practice, we strengthen our entire community and ensure everyone has a place to belong.
